Iron is one of the most sought-after resources in LEGO Fortnite for advanced players, so here’s everything you need to get it.
LEGO Fortnite players can find many useful resources while exploring randomly generated maps with different biomes. If they want to upgrade their villages and tools, they must look for them in different locations while also crafting the Utilities needed to process them to get other useful items.
Iron is a very useful material for players who reached Levels 9 and 10 with their villages, but it might be tough to get at first. So, if you’re wondering where to get Iron in LEGO Fortnite, we’ve got you covered with its locations and how to craft Iron Bars as well.
How to get Iron in LEGO Fortnite
Players can find Iron in Ice Caves located in the Frostlands biome of LEGO Fortnite. It looks fairly similar to Copper, the metal exclusive to Lava Caves in the Bry Valley biome. To mine Iron, players will need the Epic Pickaxe that can be crafted with 8 Obisidian Slabs and 5 Frostpine Rods.
Do note that Ice Caves are freezing in LEGO Fortnite, meaning you’ll need to consume special food, like the Spicy Burger, to get cold resistance. You can also craft the Inner Fire Charm to visit cold areas without losing health.
How to make Iron Bars in LEGO Fortnite
Once you have enough Iron in your inventory, you can craft one Iron Bar by putting 1 Iron and 2 Brightcores into the Metal Smelter Utility.
As you can see, the process is pretty much identical to crafting Copper Bars. So, if you’ve reached that point in your adventure, the toughest part is to farm Iron and get out of the Ice Cave alive.
Iron Bars are used to craft the strongest tools and weapons in LEGO Fortnite. This includes the Epic Shovel, Longsword, Recurve Crossbow, and Knight Shield.
