Epic Games have confirmed that a Fortnite x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event is on the way, so here’s everything you need to know about it from the start date to the leaked rewards.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 has delivered plenty of major crossovers with popular franchises already. Family Guy’s Peter Griffin arrived as part of the Battle Pass, before Solid Snake was added alongside his iconic Cardboard Box Mythic.
Players have also been treated to a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration, as all four brothers received their own skins. Now, the devs are doubling down on the crossover with a special event coming to the game.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite TMNT event.
Fortnite TMNT event start date
The Fortnite TMNT event kicks off on Friday, February 9, 2024, as confirmed by Epic Games in a teaser shared on social media. This is the same day that the 28.20 update is likely to go live, which is expected to add all of the rewards that players will be working towards.
It hasn’t been confirmed how long the event will run for, but based on past crossovers like this one, it could last for at least a couple of weeks.
Fortnite TMNT event Quests
The Fortnite TMNT event will bring a fresh set of themed Quests to tick off. While these challenges haven’t been revealed just yet, there are a handful of early “April O’Neil Investigates” Quests to get players prepared.
Check them out below:
- Talk to April (10,000 XP)
- Visit the Underground HQ (10,000 XP)
- Find empty pizza boxes (10,000 XP)
Players can expect even more challenges once the event officially goes live, which will likely focus on the TMNT Mythic items and themed areas on the map that leakers have hinted at.
Fortnite TMNT event skins leaked
Epic Games are yet to reveal the rewards for the Fortnite TMNT event, but leaks have revealed that some new skins could be up for grabs. ‘iFireMonkey’ claimed that iconic villain Shredder will be one of the new characters on offer, but mentioned that there could be even more.
We’ll have to wait and see if any other skins arrive as part of the crossover event, as fans no doubt be keen to the likes of Master Splinter or even April O’Neil herself arrive.
That was everything we know about the Fortnite TMNT event so far. We’ll be sure to update this page with all of the rewards and how to get them once they’re available.
