Fortnite OG has only just begun, but Epic Games are gearing up to release the November 9 hotfix full of content from Chapter 1 Season 6. Here are the early patch notes for the Fortnite OG November 9 update.
The arrival of Chapter 4 Season OG has sent the Fortnite community into meltdown. After weeks of teasers, the popular battle royale traveled back to Chapter 1, complete with locations and weapons from the early days of the game.
That’s not all though, as Epic Games confirmed that a new update will arrive each week to shift Fortnite into another different era from Chapter 1. The first of these is the November 9 patch, and the devs have already shared plenty of what’s in store.
Here are the early patch notes for the Fortnite OG November 9 update.
Fortnite OG November 9 update expected downtime
Based on past updates, downtime for the Fortnite OG November 9 hotfix is likely to begin at around 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET / 8 AM GMT. The servers are expected to be offline for a few hours as the new content is rolled out.
However, this hasn’t been confirmed by the devs just yet and since this update is coming so soon after Fortnite OG got underway, there’s every chance that things could be a little different compared to the usual schedule.
Fortnite November 9 update map changes

Fortnite OG is moving to Chapter 1 Season 6 with the November 9 update.
The Fortnite November 9 update is set to overhaul the map to be more in line with the Chapter 1 Season 6 map. This comes after the initial Fortnite OG patch reverted the island back to Season 5.
So far, the only map change officially confirmed is that Kevin the Cube will return to Loot Lake once again. However, fans can expect plenty of other POIs and nods to the original Season 6 once the update arrives.
