When does Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 end?
The OG season of Fortnite, Chapter 4 Season 5, is currently scheduled to end on Sunday, December 2, 2023.
The Battle Pass timer displayed in-game says that players have until this date to unlock all the rewards, so that’s when the downtime is likely to begin. Keep in mind that this date might change if Epic Games need a little more time to get everything in order for the next season. We’ll update this article if the dates change.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 expected start date
If everything goes according to plan, Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 should begin on Monday, December 3, 2023, the day after Fortnite OG ends.
Keep in mind that this hasn’t been confirmed by the devs yet. What’s more, jumping to a whole new Chapter might extend the usual downtime. We’ll keep you updated when they reveal the official start date for the next season.
Will there be a Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 live finale event?
There has been no confirmation from the developers yet, but it’s very likely that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 will end with a live event.
Traditionally, many seasons conclude with a huge event that completely changes the map and kicks off the storyline for the new era. These often come with interactive sections where players can join in and help decide the fate of the island. Since none of the Chapter 4 seasons had live events, it’s very likely that the whole Chapter ends with a bang.
Players exploring the OG map can see some references to past events, and most of them hint at a connection with the big Cube featured in Chapter 1 Season 5, 6, and X. Leakers found hints at a possible event back in September. HYPEX stated that a countdown will start on November 21st, giving players more teases of what’s to come.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 expected content
Since the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 is still releasing content, it’s early to know everything that will come next season to the battle royale. We can always expect big map changes, a new Battle Pass full of characters, new weapons, and a couple of crossovers with big franchises.
