Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 1 is here after the OG Season brought back an immense number of new and old players in the game. With a boatload of new content like new skins, weapon mods, and of course, a new map, it seems like this chapter will keep players busy for quite a while.
Among all the new mechanics and features added in Fortnite, you might be curious about the new Match Quests introduced in Chapter 5.
Here’s everything you need to about Match Quests in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1.
Match Quests in Fortnite explained
Match Quests in Fortnite are newly added missions that appear at the start of a match for the players to complete. These new quests allow players to pick the challenge they want to complete, as Match Quests are personal to each player.
Keep in mind that you will have to finish Match Quests during the match itself, as these are not recurring missions that carry over to other matches. Completing these quests will grant you 5000 XP each so it can be a great way to farm for additional experience during a match.
Even though they do not influence your Weekly Quests, keep in mind that they replace your Daily Quests in Fortnite, as they’ve been removed in Chapter 5.
We would recommend that you complete these quests at the start of every match as you are given to choose among three of them. Aside from the additional XP, Match Quests are also related to several other quests during the season and some of them even interlink with each other.
