A widespread internet outage seems to have hit Amazon, Fortnite, Hulu and several other leading sites.
With just three days to go for Christmas, website health monitor Down Detector showed reports of the websites that were not working.
Popular remote working apps like Slack and Asana also seem to be affected. This comes at a time when the emergence of the Omicron variant has forced people to work from home again amid reintroduced Government rules.
The reason behind the outage remains unclear but it looks like Amazon Web Services, which hosts a number of high-profile sites and platforms, has been affected.
Leading cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, popular video game Rocket League and queer dating app Grindr were also was hit by the outage.
But the issue seems to have been resolved quickly, with services resuming within 30 minutes of the outage being reported on Wednesday afternoon.
