Fortnite pledges to improve £10 monthly subscription offering • Eurogamer.net

Fortnite maker Epic Games has pledged to improve the game’s £10 a month subscription offer, ahead of revealing its third exclusive free skin.

Fortnite Crew, which costs £9.99 a month here in the UK and $11.99 in the US, offers a 1000 V-Buck stipend and exclusive skin pack every calendar month, as well as unlocking the current battle pass.

“It’s been great seeing players jump in with new Outfits like Galaxia and Green Arrow, and we’re working to make your subscription an even better experience month in and month out,” Epic Games said in a blog posted last night.

“As part of our commitment to deliver Fortnite Crew members the best experience possible, our team is working hard to eliminate current issues, prevent future ones, and bring more cool content and features. We’re not quite ready to announce who’s in February’s Crew Pack just yet, but we can say it’s a new face from the world of Fortnite that players should look forward to! 🦊🤫”

Early issues experienced by subscribers include complications unsubscribing on Xbox, and a delay in recieving V-Buck rewards for January. To compensate, Epic announced it would give all subscribers a free emote named “Members Only”, which lets you and another player exchange a secret handshake.
