Season 4 is almost over, but there’s still one patch left. Fortnite v14.50 is expected to drop tomorrow, November 17, with the latest arrival expected Wednesday.
Of course, this patch will probably bring a lot to the game to close things out – whether or not most of that comes in the form of leaks. Ahead, we’ll give you our predictions for the final patch of Season 4, starting with the bug fixes.
Bug fixes are always a part of major Fortnite patches. There’s always something that can be better in the game and Epic are constantly playing the game of whack-a-mole that is fixing Fortnite issues.
Unfortunately, this patch doesn’t have much in the way of bug fixes. There are a lot of “Investigating” bugs, which means we’ll have to wait for Season 5 until these issues are resolved. Here are all of the bugs that are listed as “Fixed in Next Game Update.”
- Disabled voice chat cannot be re-enabled on Xbox Series X|S.
- Team Size setting does not properly function when Join In Progress is set to Join Next Round (Creative).
- Wild West Llama not granting Steampunk weapon (STW).
We’re guessing that the primary reason for v14.50 is to add the Nexus War – or Galactus – event to the game files. We expect to load up the game and see that Galactus is closer than ever to the Fortnite map.
We might get an in-game countdown or some other visual change to the game, but most of the info will probably be dished-out by the leaking community. Most of them like to keep the big leaks away from their followers to avoid spoilers, but we’re bound to see some files, meshes, and skins decrypted before the beginning of the event.
We’ll keep you posted when the update goes live with all of the patch notes, leaks, skins and everything else you need to know. Make sure to follow us on Twitter @FortniteINTEL to stay up to date with all of the latest Fortnite news.
