Fortnite downtime ends after servers implement latest patch update 13.20

Fortnite servers are back up after experiencing downtime in order to implement the latest patch 13.20 for the hit battle royale game.

Developers Epic Games announced the downtime earlier this morning after Fortnite was taken offline at 7am BST.

Servers are reportedly offline for anywhere between an hour and two hours, but in some cases could be longer.

The update promised to “add new flare” to the game – which prompted fans to speculate that the Flare Gun weapon will be making a return.

After the update was implemented, players can update their game by downloading patch 13.20 and logging back into their game accounts.
