An insane Fortnite Chapter 2 clip is getting traction for showcasing the issues console players tend to experience when loading into the battle royale.
Epic Games revitalized its flagship title when it relaunched Fortnite after the ominous black hole event that shut down the game. When it came back to life, players were greeted with the same game as before, but with major tweaks in its system like the addition of fishing, diving, and more.
Unfortunately, a lot of console players are still experiencing a varied slate of bugs that can heavily impact firefights in Fortnite, which dampens the gameplay for those affected by the issues.
A swarm of console glitches
In a Reddit post, user ‘Nimbl_’ showed just how bad a match can get in Fortnite after getting hit with glitch after glitch, which made a simple 1v1 a nightmare to navigate.
“Recent console performance all in one clip,” they said. “Can’t pop big pot, can’t shoot my gun (it’s not even in my hand), damage I take takes like 5 seconds to register, game nearly totally freezes placing a trap…”
This is definitely a case of “seeing to believe” since the clip that they describe is actually worse when it plays out in the game.

The player stops at the bottom of the stairs at Craggy Cliffs to refill their shields to full, but the game responded with a “cannot do that now” notice – even though there wasn’t anything happening around the player at the time.
Soon after, enemy footsteps could be heard drawing near, leading to the player to abandon the failed heal and get ready for a fight.
Retreating around the corner wall, the player waits for the opportune moment to strike. But it seemingly never came, since they sprung their attack without a weapon in hand.
It forced the player to get creative and enclose the opponent before laying down a spiked trap to finish them off.
Luckily the player managed to win this fight, but any one of the bugs could have led to an instant death, no matter which platform it appeared on.
