FaZe Cizzorz hints at a bright future for Fortnite Creative tournaments

John ‘Cizzorz’ of FaZe Clan walked away from the Fortnite Creative World Cup Finals with just over $335,000 in winnings and is looking to use that money for the collective, creative good.

This past weekend’s Fortnite World Cup was packed full of competition as the Fortnite Creative Finals, Pro-AM, Duo Finals, and Solo Finals all took place from July 26 to July 28.

FaZe Clan’s Fortnite Creative god took first place in the Creative Finals as he teamed with hiimtylerh, Suezhoo, and Zand where they took home a total of $1,345,000.

Cizzorz grew in popularity throughout the Fortnite community thanks to his Deathrun maps where players have to complete difficult obstacle courses.

Incoming Fortnite Creative tournaments

On July 28, Cizzorz posted a tweet hinting that he would like to use his Creative winnings to help sponsor more competitions.

The American content creator has already hosted several Creative tournaments by offering cash prizes to players who can complete his levels with the fastest time, or more commonly known as a speedrun.

Most notably, he partnered with New Balance to help host the “Cizzorz Fun Run” where players could compete for part of the $25,000 prize pool and earn exclusive Fortnite x New Balance swag.

It’s possible his latest Creative tournament could include a new Cizzorz Deathrun map. With thousands of fans and creators hopping in on the fun, it could be a great opportunity to spread the news on Fortnite Creative.

What’s next for competitive Fortnite?

Even though the Fortnite World Cup has finished, that doesn’t mean the fun is over.

During the Finals broadcast, Epic announced that there will be a Fortnite Championship Series where players can compete for millions of dollars.

According to Sundown, every placement will matter which leads us to believe the new series will be based online like the qualifiers for the Fortnite World Cup.

Not much information has been released on the FCS, but we will be sure to keep you updated with any new announcements.
